Guru IPTV was launched to cater to the needs of the Indian diaspora living abroad, particularly in USA and Canada, to watch the Indian TV channels and movies. It is noteworthy that people from different parts of India have made USA and Canada their home. Till the time they were in India, they remained connected to their cultural moorings, in their own regional cultural space. However after migrating to other countries, this connection was lost to a good extent and there always remained a latent urge to regain the lost connection.
